MJ Monreaux is an audiobook narrator with a warm, feminine voice and a love for character-driven storytelling. A lifelong reader turned storyteller, she brings an intimate, emotionally grounded approach to every performance, creating characters that feel lived-in and moments that keep listeners connected to the story.
With experience across romance, contemporary fiction, urban fiction, erotica, and multi-cast productions, MJ especially enjoys stories with layered characters, natural dialogue, undeniable chemistry, and a little heat. Her approach to narration is rooted in authenticity, honoring the author's vision while giving each character their own presence, personality, and emotional depth.
Behind the mic, MJ is always looking for the heartbeat of a story: the tension between the words, the emotion underneath the dialogue, and those small moments that make a character feel real. Away from the booth, she's usually reading, talking about books online, or adding entirely too many new titles to her TBR.
For MJ, the best narration doesn't simply tell you a story. It pulls you in, makes you feel it, and leaves you wanting to experience it all over again.
